List of activities within the granted flexible scope of accreditation

The laboratory complement can apply a flexible approach to the scope of accreditation based on the granted "flexible scope of accreditation". A list of methods and procedures within the granted flexible scope of accreditation is given in the current annex to the accreditation certificate.

The granted flexible scope of accreditation allows laboratories to develop services according to the needs and wishes of the customer, e.g. introduction of a new or modified method or procedure of testing, calibration or examination, new instrumentation within the already granted scope of accreditation, under the conditions of maintaining the principle of examination. The possibility of introducing new or modified methods does not include the introduction of new principles of measurement, calibration or examination.
