Department of Academic Clinical Trials

The Department of Academic Clinical Trials was created as a professional support for non-commercial, academic clinical evaluations, in which the IHBT acts as the contracting authority or alternatively a national coordinator for the Czech Republic. The department of academic clinical studies uses its affiliation to the infrastructure of cooperating clinical units of the scientific network CZECRIN (Czech Clinical Research Infrastructure Network). Thanks to this membership, academic clinical projects arising at the IHBT benefit from professional support, especially in the field of data collection and processing, monitoring or supervision of pharmacovigilance.
