Rare diseases

IHBT is a centre of highly specialised care for rare hematological diseases.

We treat a wide range of rare diseases here, i.e. diseases that affect perhaps only a few dozen or hundreds of people in the Czech Republic.

The Centre for Diagnosis and Treatment of Rare Congenital and Acquired Disorders of the Red Blood Series and the Centre for Diagnosis and Treatment of Rare Disorders of Haemostasis operate at the Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion.
