IHBT is involved in the diagnosis and treatment of serious blood disorders, especially acute and chronic leukaemias, myelodysplastic syndrome, bleeding and platelet disorders and some types of anaemia. The main focus is performing bone marrow and peripheral stem cell transplantation.

The strong background of routine and research laboratories allows us to perform diagnostics corresponding to the world standard, specialized examinations also serve patients from other hematology departments. Our research focuses on hematological tumors and the development of therapeutic anti-cancer vaccines, monitoring gene and protein expression in oncohematological diseases, studying tumor markers and studying hemostasis and thrombosis.

How to refer a patient to the IHBT

You can refer a patient from any region of the Czech Republic to the IHBT. In the case of foreigners who are not insured in the Czech Republic, we recommend prior arrangement.
