The controller of your personal data is the Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion, ID 000 23 736, with registered office at U Nemocnice 1, 128 00 Prague 2 (hereinafter also referred to as "the organisation").

Introductory information

This information serves several purposes. You will learn what data we process about you and why we do so. You will also find out what rights you have in this context, i.e. what you can expect from us and who you can contact with your suggestions and any complaints. We therefore ask you to read the following text carefully. The information is divided into several sections to make it easier to find the information relevant to your situation.

Basic principles of personal data processing

We always treat your personal data in accordance with current legislation. A list of the most important legal regulations can be found at the end of this information. We also comply with the following basic principles for processing personal data in accordance with these regulations:

  • We always process your personal data fairly, in accordance with the law and in a manner that is sufficiently obvious, clear and distinct.
  • We always process your personal data only to the extent necessary and in a manner that is consistent with the purpose for which we process your data.
  • We ensure that the personal data we process about you is always accurate and updated as necessary. Personal data that is inaccurate will be deleted or corrected.
  • We only process your personal data for as long as is strictly necessary. In some cases this period is set directly by law, in other cases we have set it internally to suit our legitimate interests.
  • We adequately secure your personal data against leakage, unauthorised processing, accidental loss and damage. To this end, we have taken appropriate technical measures, which consist in particular of strictly setting individual access to your data, encryption and other technical and physical security methods.
