Conditions of donation

Conditions for hematopoietic cell donation

• age 18-40 years
• minimum weight 50 kg
• you come to us for a sampling to determine your genetic characteristics and complete a more detailed questionnaire
• you fill in an application form for the Czech Hematopoietic Cell Donor Register (here), with which ÚHKT cooperates, and you will receive further instructions by email
• donation will come next if you are selected as a suitable donor; there are 23 million people on the registry worldwide, 15,000 transplants are performed per year
