Intensive Care Unit
In the ICU we admit patients with hematopoietic diseases who require intensive care. With a maximum capacity of 10 beds, we provide comprehensive intensive care to patients already treated in the ICU who have developed complications; we admit patients in severe clinical condition caused by haematological disease for diagnosis and therapy; we administer therapy in a planned manner when there is a high risk of complications or when experimental treatment is administered.
We are located on the premises of the Institute of Hematology in Building B, on the second floor.
Most of the rooms are single rooms. The recommended list of items for ICU stay can be found here.
Visits are available throughout the day, but preferably between 2-6 pm.
Respiratory protection and disposable empires are required to enter the ward - we recommend bringing your own respirator. During periods of respiratory infections, visits may be prohibited.
Telephone information takes place after prior verification with a password that the patient can specify when signing the consent for hospitalisation, preferably between 11am and 3pm or by agreement with the attending physician.
