Staff Ombudsman

The IHBT is establishing the position of Employee Rights Ombudsperson to prevent negative workplace behaviour and to improve employee satisfaction and safety. The Ombudsman's responsibilities include:

• equal treatment,
• discrimination,
• sexual harassment,
• bullying,
• barriers to employment.
   

The Staff Ombudsman is an external expert with no previous links to the Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion.
The ombudsman defends and prioritizes the interests of employees and submits measures to the employer to protect them.
