IHBT - Equipment of the pavilion of progressive medicine including cryostorage with medical technology:
Project annotation:
The aim of the project is to equip the new building of progressive medicine including the cryostore in the 2nd floor, which IHBT will build from its own resources. The main purpose of the project is to purchase 14 special containers (Dewar vessels) with vacuum insulation for the storage of liquid nitrogen for cryopreservation of grafts for clinical and scientific purposes. Very dangerous work with cryostorage will be ensured by the acquisition of 2 robotic systems, which will also ensure efficient storage of samples. In addition, 2 storage tanks will be purchased to store the total stock of liquid nitrogen and 1 technological, safety and control system, which is necessary for quality and safe operation in accordance with the current legislation and meets the conditions set by the SÚKL. The reason for the acquisition of this technological unit is that the IHBT will unify its external warehouses in one place, thus reducing the high costs of storage and transport of grafts and increasing safety and quality. Baseline value: 0 units, target value: 19 units.

IHBT - Delivery of a comprehensive information system and renewal of the related infrastructure
Project annotation:
The subject of the project IHBT - KIS is the acquisition of a new comprehensive information system for the health care agenda and its implementation in the technological environment of IHBT. An integral part of the project implementation is also the modernization of the related communication infrastructure, which is necessary for the smooth operation of the complex IS. The aim is to introduce modern information technology focused on the area of health care, which will improve the quality and efficiency of health care provided in the inpatient wards and outpatient clinics of the IHBT.

Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion Prague - Crisis Preparedness
Project annotation:
Update of the crisis preparedness plan, focusing on the experience and good practice from the COVID-19 epidemic. Training of staff in the procedures of the updated plans, including practical drills and exercises using appropriate technical elements. Psychosocial support for health service provider staff.

Project Annotation:
The subject of the project is to develop and increase the resilience of the IHBT in the safe care of oncology patients as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
