The nursing team members are also involved in standard and transplantation hematological care of all clinical departments of the IHBT.
Professional growth of nursing personnel occurs in connection with the needs of patients treated both in outpatient and inpatient part of the IHBT. Education of nurses is also supported by the IHBT in in-house specialization training programs, as well as on university ground. Nurses are included in specialization programs on a continuous basis with regard to operational capacity of the various centres.
The participation in short-term training and expert activities is facilitated to staff members depending on organizational and financial possibilities. When individual staff members are selected, their participation in training activities in the previous calendar year is always taken into account. In the course of a year the Nursing Division organizes its own specialized seminars and other training activities.
