All About Blood in Medicine and Science

The IHBT is engaged in diagnostics and treatment of serious hematopoietic disorders, in particular acute and chronic leukemia, myelodysplastic syndrome, blood coagulation and platelet disorders and certain types of anemia. Its core focus is bone marrow and peripheral stem cells transplantation.

Our strong background of routine and research laboratories facilitates the provision of diagnostics in accordance with the world standards; specialized tests also serve to patients of other hematological centres. In the framework of research, we primarily deal with problems of hematological tumors and the development of therapeutic antitumor vaccines, monitoring gene and protein expression in onco-hematological diseases, studying tumor markers, as well as hemostasis and thrombosis.
